Detroit sports bloggers and podcasters Greg Eno and Big Al Beaton are The Knee Jerks!
Greg is on hiatus from the podcast for personal reasons. He's doing OK and hopes to be back soon. But rather than put the show on a long-term hiatus, we've brought in a pinch hitter who may Wally Pipp Eno.
Joining The Knee Jerks Podcast from the Pacific Northwest is long-time Detroit sports fan Nick Milanovich.
This week's topics include:
Tigers President of Baseball Operations Scott Harris speaks
Harris, who has settled into a Dave Dombrowski type role, wants to hire a GM. Don't expect a big name, as the new GM will answer to Harris
Decreasing Comerica's outfield dimensions is still under serious consideration. Does it make sense?
Harris says he wants to add a left hand hitting infielder, a right hand hitting outfielder and more pitching
Javy Baez will be the Tigers' shortstop next season. The remainder of the infield is yet to be determined
The organization is finally moving on from several Avila era prospects, such as Daz Cameron and Victor Reyes
Which players will be non-tendered? Will anyone be worth taking to arbitration?
Riley Greene is named Tiger of the Year. It's honestly hard to make a case for any Tiger, but someone had to win
The Baseball Hall of Fame snubbed Lou Whitaker....again
The Tunnelgate investigation is now in the hands of the Washtenaw County prosecutor. You shouldn't expect any Michigan State players to be locked up, no matter what overheated rhetoric you may hear.
Can the Wolverines - Spartans rivalry overcome the hate, contempt and disrespect?
At 3-6 the Lions are on the periphery of the NFC wild card race. But lets not get carried away
3 weeks ago Lions fans wanted heads to roll. 2 straight wins over division rivals has fans back on board the Dan Campbell train
We also name our respective Jerk of the Week!
