Long time Detroit podcasters and bloggers Greg Eno and Al Beaton are The Knee Jerks! Due to circumstances out of our control, we had to take a few months away from the show. But we're back and have a lot our Detroit sports loving minds. So let's hit the ground running and talk Detroit Lions, Red Wings, Pistons and Tigers!
Along with the Birthday Game and the Jerk of the Week, topics include:
-A 3-5 record leaves fans with more questions than answers about
the direction of the Lions franchise.
-"Trader" Bob Quinn is both a buyer (Damon "Snacks" Harrison) and
seller (fan favorite Golden Tate) at the NFL trade deadline. Both
deals are part of the Patriot Way.
-Slouch in front of Matt Patricia, you end up making national
headlines.
-Thoughts on season 2 of the Red Wings rebuild. Youngsters Dylan
Larkin, Dennis Cholowski impress, but most vets (we're looking at
you, Abdelkader) disappoint.
-Tell Ken Holland there's an GM elephant in the room, and his name
is Steve Yzerman.
-The Pistons have a superstar point forward in Blake Griffin, an
enigma in Andre Drummond, and a bunch of guys who can't shoot the
3-ball and are a bad fit in Dwane Casey's offense.
-The Tigers are a long, long way from contending entering the
second off season of their rebuild.
