According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Tigers are open to trading anyone on their roster, including Tarik Skubal.
As for trading a young, high value, starting pitcher, we had the same discussion about Michael Fulmer and Matthew Boyd 3-4 years ago...and nothing happened.
Does anyone believe Tigers GM Al Avila could have a productive trade deadline? We're a good five years into the rebuild, and other than Skubal, Riley Greene and Spencer Torkelson, who has any significant, big time, trade value?
We have to accept the rebuild failed. The next rebuild must be run by a different regime.
A completely lost at the plate Torkelson was mercifully sent to Triple A Toledo to get back on track.
Eduardo Rodriguez is no longer MIA and plans to return to the Tigers. He had every right to step away from the baseball and it was no one's fault. But right or wrong, the fan base won't welcome him back with open arms and he will have to re-earn the trust of his teammates.
The Pistons bring back the Grant Hill-era horsehead logo teal uniforms. We despise them, but we aren't the target market, either.
